EVERT follows college freshman Cora, who is struggling to the understand the supernatural changes happening to her body and the complicated friendship she shares with her roommate.

In trying to hold it all together, Cora discovers that the strange circumstances of her reality are becoming increasingly reminiscent of a past she vowed to escape.

Genres: drama, horror, and on rare occasion, slice of life.

Working from written scripts, EVERT pages are drafted and then inked traditionally. Once done, they are limped to a scanner to be colored digitally.

A few tools of note: miscellaneous pencils/fine-liners/markers, clip studio paint, procreate, a lot of stretching, and patience.

Like Cora, I was also in college when EVERT wormed its way into my psyche. And somewhere deep down, I knew it was there to stay. It’s emotionally intense, personal, and now it’s my first comic.
